Description: Think rebellion-rock with a political agenda. Linq's music is fresh, uncompromising, irresistibly passionate, dynamically humanistic, and lush with experience.
Biography: At an age when many look forward to retirement, Linq is kicking it up, cranking it out, and defying stereotypes. This singer-songwriter's music is fresh, uncompromising, decidedly un-stodgy, and lush with life experience. She's passionate about touching lives and making a difference in the world. One of the most striking things about her music is the amount of joy and enthusiasm she exudes in spite of her edgy tunes and topics.

A former pharmacist, Linq sold her independent pharmacy at the end of 2004 to follow all of the music that's coming out of her. She came of age in the 60's. Her music harkens to roots in the popular music of that time with its political folk, psychedelic rock, and social conscience. Harkens but doesn't duplicate. This is a woman who has found her groove: strongly vulnerable, irresistibly passionate, and dynamically humanistic.

FAST MOVING DREAM (June 2006, Linqsongs Publishing) by Linq will appeal to Woodstock originals and their children, soul-searching idealists, and anyone frustrated with the current state of the world. This project, produced by June Millington, includes songs about war victims, healthcare, homophobia, longing for love, celebration, and a tribute to a longtime friend who died too young. June Millington, Julie Wolf, Jami Sieber, Allison Miller, Loren Weisman, and Ruth Davies are among the studio musicians who create soulful, gritty, energetic background to Linq's silken voice and driving guitar.
